Easter at the castle

In Gruyères, the story goes that one Easter Sunday a very clever rabbit stole the precious eggs from the legendary golden-egg crane and hid them in the many nooks and crannies of the castle grounds. This year, the Château de Gruyères is inviting explorers in short pants to come and find them among the hundreds of multicoloured eggs hidden by the mischievous long-eared animal. Armed with a little bag specially created for the occasion, will children be able to find the crane's precious golden eggs? The first among them - the early birds? - will receive a small reward.
On Sunday 21 April, the Château de Gruyères welcomes children aged 2 and over and their families for the first Golden Crane Egg Hunt. Young and old alike can take a stroll through the wonderful flower garden, open for the season, and celebrate Easter in the enchanting setting of the Château de Gruyères.
