Photo Esplanade – Spécial PPAF

This year, Photo Esplanade celebrates the founding of the new association PPAF (Photographie professionnelle et artistique fribourgeoise) and opens its doors to four of its members. For this open-air photographic event, which has become a regular fixture in the Gruyère Castle calendar, the château is presenting the work of Etienne Francey, Emmanuel Gavillet, Elise Heuberger and Tomas Wüthrich in an unusual setting.

A stroll through documentary photography, landscape research, poetic evocations and plastic experiments, the exhibition reveals a cross-section of Fribourg's creative output and gives us a taste of the canton's wealth of photographic talent.
