General terms and conditions

Guided tours and activities

Appointment

All tours and activities take place at the Castle entrance (reception), unless otherwise agreed.

The meeting point is 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

If the tour is late, it may be cut short depending on the availability of the guide.

If the tour is 20 minutes or more late, an additional charge of CHF 50 per guide will be levied. From 40 minutes late, the guided tour/entertainment will be cancelled and billed. Depending on the castle's closing time, the guided tour may be replaced by an individual visit.

Cancel

All cancellations must be announced by telephone at least 48 hours in advance. After this period, the total amount will be charged.

Payment

Cash or debit/credit card (Visa / Mastercard / American Express).

Euros (banknotes only) are accepted but change is given in CHF. A supplement of CHF 20.00 will be charged for all invoices sent abroad.

Groups

Every group must have a leader who ensures that the area and rules are respected. Tacitly, the person in charge is the person who pays the entrance fee for the group. Those accompanying classes, school trips, camps or other groups are at all times responsible for the discipline of their group and must accompany them on their visit to the castle. The group must remain united and not disperse.

Conditions for tour operators and schools

A maximum of two group leaders (tour organisers) may enter the Castle free of charge, but may not accompany the tour if the group already numbers 25 people. The maximum group size in the Castle remains 25 people at all times.

Swiss state schools have free admission. In exceptional circumstances, the size of a school group may be increased to 27 people, including accompanying adults.
